Double Rainbow

Good Morning World!

I am defiantly one of those people who’s mood is affected by the weather. Rain makes me miserable, the sun makes me happy and clouds are not friends. So when staring out my window on a cold rainy day I felt sluggish, but because I saw a rainbow I felt inspired.

Rainbows tell us to hold onto hope, and believe beyond the shadow of doubt when following our hearts desires. But a double rainbow opens up the path of personal magic. Its a signal to be true to yourself and know that the universe is conspiring on your behalf. Its shows that your intuition is keener than you imagined and is urging you to trust your gut.

I am and always have been a keen believer in Astrology. I believe that there are certain things in our lives that our uncontrollable, but I also believe that there are certain things we have to do for ourselves. I agree that there are certain people in this world that you are meant to meet, some to help you grow, or some to help you to learn but I believe that that’s it, it is you that has to actively go out and learn these lesson, this is something the universe cannot do for you. I know this phenomenon is not a favourite in everyone but I do have a point.

Rainbows mean just this! They bring hope and are the key for believing in your greatest desires. I know symbolism doesn’t mean anything in a broad sense, and if you passively look at anything then things won’t happen. This post isn’t about the wonderful nature of rainbows and how they magically bring you good things. Its about believing you can do something. I know that when I have someone behind me cheering me on, like your parents do a sports day, its so much easier to do well. You’re making someone else proud as well as yourself.

They hold the key for unlocking desire and achieving something you have always wanted to do. If you look at this on a simple level, before I saw that rainbow I wasn’t in the mood to do anything that day, the rain makes you want to sit inside in front of the TV, but that light of inspiration lead to this blog post, and it led me see the light in most things. What I am trying to say is, there is light in everything you do. There may be bad times but it takes a small piece of light to realise your motivation. This light (the rainbow) helps you to achieve things, it brings you hope, it brings motivation and above all it brings you magic.

How to spend a blissful Spring Morning | Bluebell Woodland

Good Morning World!

The sun is shinning in Britain and its finally starting to feel more like spring. This undoubtedly calls for a long Oxfordshire countryside walk in our beautiful woodlands. My friend Charlotte and I decided that we would take advantage of this once in a blue moon good weather and take our dogs out on a little adventure. However, as it does involve this particular best friend of mine a photoshoot is never out of the question, and with my undeniable love of photography we make a great pair.

The sheer beauty of nature is captivating and there is nothing I love more in this weather than to capture the colours and openness of nature. Whenever I’m out on a walk I always find myself wanting to take the whole scene with me. This may be one of the reasons I fell in love with photography because its a way of keeping hold of the memory without taking nature with you so to speak.

Always hold on to that joy!

Happy Photo taking friends.

Urban Painters Shirt

Good Morning World!

As we move into spring my wardrobe begins to adopt more floral and colourful pieces. So while I was on my “holiday” from work I took full advantage and went a little overboard with the shopping. Recently I have been loving Zara, and this isn’t a shop that I would usually touch but I have been wearing more shirts now that the weather is getting warmer and because of this Zara is a go-to shop.

I bought this shirt for £25.99. It is very different from my usual style but it was worth the purchase as its a easy shirt to pull off without having to put too much effort into a look. I was drawn to this shirt because of the subtle coloured detailing on the front which reminds me of a painters shirt, and the contrasting striped sleeves which made it different from anything else in my wardrobe.

I paired with a simple pair of blue jeans and some plain trainers. This created an effortless urban look, which is easy to recreate. The jeans pictures are Topshop’s Jamie Jeans which I believe were around the £30 mark. I always buy my jeans from Topshop because they have a certain fit that no other high street store can match, and they do it at such a great price. My trainers are from New Look for only £19.99, which to tell a secret, I wasn’t planning on wearing when we took these pictures but I had bought them that day and felt like they went with my outfit more than my other ones.

Please enjoy my cheeky extra picture for your own viewing pleasure!
