Good Morning World!
Last Wednesday I travelled down to London with my Sixth Form crew to Hyde Park to enjoy the wonder that is Winter Wonderland. I had never been before and was excited to check this fabulous adventure off my life admirations. I had high expectations for Winter Wonderland, but I wasn’t expecting it to exceed these standards. I was well and truly walking in a Winter Wonderland.
There are a variety of fun activities for all the family, including Ice Skating, Ice Kingdom, the Big Wheel and the Ice Bar and of course Santa’s Grotto. We spend the majority of our time on the roller coaters and on the Ice Rink. I couldn’t think of anything more festive than scaring yourself on a roller coater at 10 in the evening.
Winter wonderland has free admissions, however you have to book attractions in advance, these include Ice Skating, the Ice Kingdom and The Big Wheel. We booked our Ice Skating tickets when we arrived in the booking booth at the entrance, so if you forget to book in advance, don’t fret you can still do it upon arrival. I would recommend booking online as this guarantees you a spot, however they do have a booking free when you do this.
We arrived at Winter Wonderland just as it was beginning to get dark, we spent a 2 hour coach journey and I was so excited. The Sixth Form had arranged a special outing for us all for working so hard towards our A-levels. Last year they took us to Alton Towers, but I was over the moon when I found out we were coming here because Christmas is my favourite time of year. I felt like I was a child in their element.
Here are some of the pictures that I took throughout my time.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a Wednesday night, and I couldn’t think of better people to spend it with. Thank you for a fabulous evening everyone.
