Christmas Party Dress

Good Morning World!

Every year I like to pick out the perfect outfit to wear on Christmas Day, it is usually something quite casual, but this year I have gone all out with a fantastic velvet party dress.

I have never been the biggest fan of velvet before I got this dress, I always use to tickle my spine or give me the shivers, but this one doesn’t seem to have that effect on me. I am quite glad, as velvet is just such a Christmassy fabric.

I paired it with these gorgeous strappy sandals from Miss Selfridge, which cost 4 1/2 times more than the dress. *She says with gritted teeth* I am rather naughty when it comes to shoes! *smacks hand*

Hope you all have a fabulous Christmas and I will see you in a few days time.

Winter Wonderland

Good Morning World!

Last Wednesday I travelled down to London with my Sixth Form crew to Hyde Park to enjoy the wonder that is Winter Wonderland. I had never been before and was excited to check this fabulous adventure off my life admirations. I had high expectations for Winter Wonderland, but I wasn’t expecting it to exceed these standards. I was well and truly walking in a Winter Wonderland.

There are a variety of fun activities for all the family, including Ice Skating, Ice Kingdom, the Big Wheel and the Ice Bar and of course Santa’s Grotto. We spend the majority of our time on the roller coaters and on the Ice Rink. I couldn’t think of anything more festive than scaring yourself on a roller coater at 10 in the evening.

Winter wonderland has free admissions, however you have to book attractions in advance, these include Ice Skating, the Ice Kingdom and The Big Wheel. We booked our Ice Skating tickets when we arrived in the booking booth at the entrance, so if you forget to book in advance, don’t fret you can still do it upon arrival. I would recommend booking online as this guarantees you a spot, however they do have a booking free when you do this.

We arrived at Winter Wonderland just as it was beginning to get dark, we spent a 2 hour coach journey and I was so excited. The Sixth Form had arranged a special outing for us all for working so hard towards our A-levels. Last year they took us to Alton Towers, but I was over the moon when I found out we were coming here because Christmas is my favourite time of year. I felt like I was a child in their element.

Here are some of the pictures that I took throughout my time.

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a Wednesday night, and I couldn’t think of better people to spend it with. Thank you for a fabulous evening everyone.

Interview with a Fellow Blogger | Em B

Good Morning World!em b

Seeing as the interview process determines a range of opportunities a person is given, Em and I thought it would be only fitting that we interviewed each other for a space on our little blogs.

1. Can you tell my readers about yourself and your blog?IMG_4290.JPG
Hey, I’m Em and I’m an 18 year old blogger from the South Coast of England. I love anything beauty, fashion, food and lifestyle related and that’s what I love to write about on my blog, I occasionally throw in some other posts like tags, facts about me and chatty posts, etc! I am obsessed with YouTube and Keeping up with the Kardashians. I love photography, writing and creating YouTube videos!
2. Describe how you first got into blogging?
I first got into blogging in February after I started my YouTube channel. I thought blogging would be a fun thing to do as well because I love taking photos and writing. It’s definitely been one of the best decisions I’ve made.
3. What do you do in your spare time?
Blogging, YouTube and photography. I have a lot of spare time so I’m constantly writing posts, filming/editing YouTube videos or taking photos!

4. What inspired you to start blogging?

Other peoples blogs to be honest, I had Bloglovin way before I started my blog and I’d always read other peoples blogs!

5. How do you motivate yourself to keep the blog up and running?
To be honest I’m motivated to keep my blog up and running 98% of the time! I plan and write my blogposts the week before I upload them and I think that motivates me more knowing I’ve got posts written and ready to upload!

6. How active are you on a weekly basis? How often do you communicate with your followers?

I’m really quite active, I tend to read posts on my Bloglovin feed quite often. I recently started uploading Monday, Wednesday and Friday so I’m active with the uploading! I communicate with my followers a lot, if someone comments on my posts I’ll reply fairly quickly!
7. How much time do you spend blogging?IMG_3663
I spend a lot of time blogging, if I’m not uploading a post then I’m either planning or writing one. I spend a lot of times taking photos for my blog also.
8. Would you encourage other people to make a blog?
If someones thinking about it then most definitely. It’s such a fun and good thing to start. It’s also a really good way to communicate with others, I’ve never really been someone who’s good at communicating with others, I’d always be too shy to comment on other peoples posts and stuff, but blogging has made me more confident with that!

Thank you so much for reading, and thank you so much Em for appearing on my blog. To check out her blog, Click here.
